Dossier arrived in Iowa, and passed the new SW's inspection. (yay!) She sent it overnight to the Michigan (HQ) office yesterday, so it should have arrived today. I'm hoping that they have time to review it today and overnight it to DC so that they can start on it (or at least put it in their pile) on Monday.

Once your dossier is in do you get on the referral list?

I think it actually goes to be translated first before we get on the list. I want to say our SW told us it would be about 2 months after we turned it in for it to get authenticated, translated, and a few other things. I can't remember for sure now, but definitely plan to ask our new SW next week.
