This is starting to remind me of trying to have a baby. We tried and tried and tried. And waited and waited and waited. And hit some road blocks. And had some misfortunes. And it seemed like everyone else around us was having an easy time of it. Not that the adoption process is "easy" for ANYone. But some people's process is a helluva lot quicker than ours. Like when we were trying to get pregnant. And you're happy for other people who are bringing home babies. Of course you are. But still a little sad for yourself. It's a weird feeling to be happy and sad at the same time.

I'm sorry!!! You can come over any time and love on my little ET baby if it will help. Hang in there, I know people tell you that all the time, and of course you are hanging in there (what else can you do), but your time will come, and when it does you will have the most awesome children who were meant to be with you. I can't believe USCIS is taking so long, can you have your social worker email and find out what's going on?
